Participation of beneficiary Dr. Maria Alempaki at the 25th International Congress of the European Society of Rural Sociology ('ESRS 2015') "Places of Possibility? Rural Societies in a Neoliberal World "conducted in Aberdeen, North East Scotland, from 18 to 21 August 2015. The title of the work presented was "Resilient wine routes amidst a maelstrom of change? Outlining threats and vulnerabilities" (Maria Alebaki, Maria Partalidou & Alex Koutsouris) and is based on results of research (qualitative, in-depth interviews) implemented at the Institute of Breeding and Genetic Resources.

Previously (17-18 / 08/2015) a workshop was held (Pre-congress Workshop) entitled: "Innovative Digital Technologies and Visual Methods for Social Research", on which innovative research methods in the field of Rural Sociology were presented.
