Hellenic Agricultural Organisation "DEMETER"
The General Directorate of Agricultural Research of Hellenic Agricultural Organization "DEMETER" manages the implementation of the Action in cooperation with all the other Directorates of the Organization.
A joint decision of the Ministers of Finance and Rural Development and Food established the "HELLENIC AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATION - Dimitra 'in which legal persons are merged:
a) National Agricultural Research Foundation (NAGREF)
b) Organization of Agricultural Vocational Education, Training and Employment (OGEEKA) "DIMITRA"
c) Certification Organization and Supervision of Agricultural Products (O.P.E.GE.P - AGROCERT) and
d) Hellenic Milk and Meat (EL.O.GAK).
The "HELLENIC AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATION - DEMETER" is a wider public sector body, enjoys administrative and financial autonomy, operates for the public interest, supervised by the Minister of Agriculture and exercises all the powers of the merged entities.
